Claude Video Editing Just Got a MAJOR Upgrade (Hyperframes V2)
The three levels of using it, plus the skill that installs it for you
I cut a 76-second raw clip down to 30 seconds, added title cards, motion graphics and a rotating 3D logo. All automated from inside one Claude Code session!
Here's a preview โ
The reason? Hyperframes V2 just shipped. It's the open-source video tool from the HeyGen team, and it now handles subtitles, floating cards, and motion graphics โ all written as code your agent generates for you.
There are three levels to using it:
Level 1 โ Website to video. Paste a URL - Hyperframes scrapes the site, pulls the brand colors, downloads the assets, and gives you a draft video.
Level 2 โ Storyboard first. Have Claude render an HTML storyboard before any video gets made. You see the scenes, copy, and shot direction as a webpage. Edit the wording there, then render. (Way better alignment, way fewer wasted tokens!)
Level 3 โ Full motion graphics. Cut your raw footage automatically, drop in 3D assets from 21st.dev, key out green screens for rotating logos. This is where the heavy quality lives.
I walk through all three levels with real builds in that video above
If you want to try the Hyperframes Helper skill yourself - here's a simple prompt you can send to Claude Code:
I'm giving you a skill kit called Hyperframes Helper. Get the files with:
git clone https://github.com/robonuggets/hyperframes-helper
Follow the README to set it up.
Recommend how it would best apply to our setup in plain language,
and ask me a few questions to clarify my intent before you install it.โ Jay
P.S: Every other Thursday I run a live bootcam session inside the community where we build setups exactly like this one together. Come build with us if that's of interest! โ https://www.skool.com/robonuggets
