I Gave Claude Fable 600,000+ Real UI Design References (no more AI slop)
621,500 real app screens, one MCP connector, and the three techniques I use to escape sloppy AI designs
You can usually tell when an app was designed by AI. Same serif font, same purple gradient, every time. So I gave Claude Fable access to 621,500 real UI screens so mine never looks that way again πͺπ»
I walk through the setup and the three techniques I use in this video.
Here's what changed: Mobbin is the biggest UI reference library, with screens pulled from real shipped apps like Linear, Duolingo and Netflix. It just launched its own MCP connector - so your agent can search all 600k+ screens while it builds.
Here are three techniques to kill the AI-slop look from your designs forever:
Copy a real design system. Point Claude to your app and ask for three reference-based rebuilds.
Catch the screens you forget. Ask for the UI states builders usually skip - e.g. delete confirm pages, the paywall, empty search - each pulled from a real app.
Pull components on demand. Ask for five useful, good-looking UI components - helpful when you want to enrich your own design system further!
The exact setup and sample UI screens for you to try out are now available here
Cheers!

P.S: We just updated the Claude Code Masterclass with a whole volume on Taste and Design. You get 9 new modules, 30+ Fable-level design systems, 70+ brand palettes to use, and a plugin that lets you snipe any UI component off the internet. It's all inside the community, see if thatβs for you β https://www.skool.com/robonuggets
